For guests, eating wedding cake is probably one of the most-loved parts of a wedding. For nearly two decades, Lake Flour Cakery, located in Saranac Lake, has created cakes, cupcakes, and other delicious confections for Adirondack brides and grooms.

Lake Flour Cakery, established in 1996, has long been a staple in the tri-lakes area of Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, and Tupper Lake. Cakes and cupcakes are decorated with the shop’s own made-from-scratch Italian buttercream using real butter, sugar, egg whites and pure vanilla. A tasty variety of flavors are available, including traditional yellow, devil’s food, and lemon, with frostings and fillings such as chocolate truffle, creamy caramel, white or dark chocolate mousse, lemon curd, raspberry or strawberry fruit spread, and more. Personal recipes are accepted, meaning the bakery could even create an old family favorite for your special day! Fondant icing is also available.
